How I price my prints

I want to share the stories I capture with as many people as possible.
I truly believe that printing our photography is one of the best ways to appreciate this world. It takes us away from ever-present screens and gives us something to hold, touch, and connect with — something concrete and lasting.
When printed with professional-grade equipment, the quality, colors, and resolution bring the image to life in a way that a screen never could.

That’s why I want to be fully transparent about how I price my prints.
In a world where profit often comes before people, it’s not always easy to find a fair balance.
While I want to make my prints accessible, I also need to cover my costs and honor the value of my work — the countless hours of walking, studying, capturing, editing, and storytelling that go into each piece.
I live by my mission: to help people slow down, live their best lives, and appreciate the world and its stories.

Here’s what goes into each print:

Tangible Costs

  • Printer: I personally print every photo using my Canon imagePrograf 1100, a professional-grade printer capable of producing fine art prints up to 17x22 inches.

  • Ink: This printer uses 12 cartridges of ink to ensure the highest fidelity and richness of color — so the print matches the emotion and detail of the original moment.

  • Fine Art Paper: Every print is made on heavyweight Fine Art Paper (at least 275 GSM), certified to last longer than a lifetime without fading or yellowing.

  • Story Card: Each print comes with a card printed on photographic paper, telling the story behind the image, along with its number and print date. Every piece is a limited edition — crafted uniquely for you, not mass-produced.

  • Packing Materials: I carefully package each print using high-quality protective materials to ensure it arrives safely, without scratches or damage.

The Work Behind the Print

  • Capturing: The photo you receive is not just a random shot; it’s a result of mindful effort to capture something meaningful — something that makes you feel.

  • Curating and Editing: I spend hours selecting the best images and editing them thoughtfully to convey the story and emotion behind them.

  • Printing: I personally oversee the printing process to make sure the colors, sharpness, and overall quality meet true fine-art standards. Every print dries for at least 24 hours before being prepared for shipping.

  • Shipping: Once ready, I carefully package and send your print. If for any reason the print arrives damaged, I offer a free replacement (after confirmation).

Unlike many other art shops, I don’t outsource any part of this process — it’s all done by me, from start to finish.
It’s something I want to deliver from my hands to yours, carrying the full emotion and care it deserves.
I hope that when you receive your print, you’ll feel the same joy and connection that I felt when capturing it.

One note about framing: I don’t include frames with the prints.
That’s intentional — I want you to choose a frame that fits your own space and style, so the artwork becomes a natural part of your home.
